Numeo vs Rose Rocket

AI-native TMS for carriers, brokers and 3PLs. Now trading as TMS.ai.

Numeo One (TMS) compared with Rose Rocket (TMS)

Rose Rocket and TMS.ai are the same company — TMS.ai is Rose Rocket’s rebranded platform, announced as “a Rose Rocket company”, with Rose Rocket Inc. still the legal entity. Treat the two comparison pages on this site as one competitor seen from two search terms. This is a TMS-against-TMS comparison: Numeo One on our side. Rose Rocket is one of the few in this category to publish a price, and that price is the story — it starts at $2,080/month, where Numeo One runs a ten-truck fleet for $100.

Where Rose Rocket is strong — and where Numeo fits

Rose Rocket strengths

  • Publishes a real price — $2,080/month — which most of this category refuses to do
  • Unlimited users at that price, and no per-invocation charge on the AI
  • Three named AI agents shipping in product: Rosie, Rocky and Ted
  • Acquired Centro in 2025 to build Ted, its broker-email automation — a real capability, not a roadmap item
  • Broad platform: order management, tendering, rate management, freight audit and pay, customer portal, workflow builder
  • Publishes a “guaranteed go-live in 90 days” commitment

Where Numeo fills the gap

  • The $2,080/month floor is the whole story for a small fleet — that is more than a 100-truck fleet pays on Numeo One Pro list pricing
  • Serves carriers, brokers and 3PLs from one platform; Numeo One is built only for the carrier side
  • Replacement platform — adopting it is a migration, even at a guaranteed 90 days
  • No carrier-side load search across DAT, Truckstop and broker portals — that is not what the platform is for
  • No browser extension for dispatchers working inside a load board

Verdict

This one is settled by the price line, and Rose Rocket publishes it: $2,080/month to start. Numeo One is $100/month at ten trucks and $1,500 at a hundred — with dispatch, invoicing, factoring, driver payroll, IFTA, fleet, safety and a 4.9★ driver app included, and AI agents doing the rate-con reading and broker email. You would need roughly 140 trucks before Numeo One list pricing even reached their opening number. Rose Rocket is a capable platform built for mid-market and enterprise operations running brokerage alongside assets, and if that is you it is worth the money. If you run trucks and want the same operational coverage without a $25,000 annual floor or a 90-day go-live, Numeo One does the job for a fraction of it.

  • Yes. TMS.ai is Rose Rocket’s rebranded platform — announced by the company as “TMS.ai, a Rose Rocket company”, with Rose Rocket Inc. remaining the legal entity. If you are evaluating both, you are evaluating one vendor.

  • Their pricing page publishes “Starting at $2080/month” for the Full Service Platform, with Enterprise custom, marketed as one transparent price with unlimited users and no per-use AI fees. That is a real published number, which is rare here — most TMS vendors gate pricing entirely.

  • Numeo One is per truck: $10/truck/mo on Basic (1–10 trucks) and $15/truck/mo on Pro (11–100), 30% less billed annually. A ten-truck fleet pays $100/month and a hundred-truck fleet $1,500/month — both under Rose Rocket’s $2,080 floor. Above roughly 140 trucks the comparison flips, and at that size you would be on Numeo One Enterprise pricing anyway.

  • If you run brokerage or 3PL operations alongside assets, Rose Rocket covers all of it on one platform and Numeo One does not — we are carrier-side only. If you need deep workflow customisation, or unlimited users matters more to you than per-truck pricing, they are built for that. Their AI agent line-up is also further along than ours in breadth.
